Warf is prescribed to treat and prevent harmful blood clots that can develop in veins (venous thrombosis), lungs (pulmonary embolism), during irregular heartbeats (atrial fibrillation), or after heart valve replacement surgery. Additionally, Warf helps lower the risk of stroke and other complications for individuals who have experienced a heart attack. Warf functions as an anticoagulant, inhibiting the production of specific clotting factors. In the absence of these factors, blood clots cannot form.

Administer Warf as instructed by your physician. Avoid taking amounts larger or smaller than prescribed or using it for a longer period than advised. Adhere to the instructions on your prescription label. Your doctor might occasionally adjust your dosage to ensure optimal results. Take Warf consistently at the same time each day. It can be consumed with or without food. Refrain from dieting for weight loss while on Warf. Inform your physician if there are any changes in your body weight for any reason. While on Warf, regular blood tests will be necessary. Make sure to see your doctor frequently.

If you require antibiotics, surgery, dental procedures, a spinal tap, or spinal anesthesia (epidural), you might need to temporarily discontinue the medication. Continue taking Warf even if you feel fine, and do not skip any doses unless your doctor advises otherwise. If you happen to miss a dose, inform your doctor immediately. Feel free to ask your healthcare provider any questions regarding the usage of Warf.
